The 55-300 is a great match for a Nikon body but it is also a really inexpensive consumer lens and will be stomped to dust by a decent prime.

As for f5.6, that is the effective aperture of every professional f/4 lens on APS-C, which is not a problem at all at long FLs.

I personaly think that MFT and all the other mirrorless offers are overpriced by a lot..

I agree in some cases ... but there are also excellent values in the system.

When you mount that prime its no longer a very compact unit either...

There are compact options, I own some. And there are less compact options. But every combination I own is smaller than any combination I owned in APS-C. It's still a win.

But yes its good to see some movement in the MFT field.....

Always good to get more options ...
