I am thinking about to buy the D600 in a shop that will give a 150€ refund. That money would buy me a Nikkor 50mm F1.8, which is as far as I heard a quite good lens. So I would get a D600 with a good prime for ~ 1600 €.

Then I plan to buy a 24-85, which will roll in front of me for 300 - 350 € in used condition.

Does this make sense to you?

The alternative ist to buy a K5 II with a 18-135 lense for 1350 € and later a Pentax prime for 450€.

What would you do?

I wouldn't buy either camera. I'd buy a less expensive camera with a good sensor, such as the Nikon d5100 and then buy some very good lenses with the savings. For example, you can get a refurbished d5100 from Cameta Camera for less than $400 US.

That's what I would do.
