Re: Is it time to give up on Olympus?

I'm not a newbie.  I have a mix of Panny and Oly bodies and lenses, in fact just about all of them except the GH3 (nice camera, but does nothing I need over the OM-D) and the cheap zooms.  They all work fine with each other, except the 20mm Panny which apparently has some banding issues with the OM-D under certain specialised circumstances.
My advice would be, if you need a decent standard zoom now, get the 12-35.  If there is no hurry, Oly have made it clear the prime range is done and they are going to offer some nice zooms.

It's not a matter of functioning, it's a matter of performance. I suggest you do some more reading.

I would love to do some reading. Got a link?

Doing a search on this forum would be a good place to start.

You're the only person I've ever heard make this claim. You'll notice nobody is backing you up here. I don't think it's unreasonable that I'm asking for a little evidence.

You are obviously a newbie. This is all common knowledge. I'm not going to do your homework for you. Do the research on your own then get back to me with an apology.
