Waterfall and rocks in direct sunlight

Hi Lou,

Thanks for the high contrast rendition. It has pop! I'd like to achive this contrast using more direct sunlight at the right time of day. I'll be going back in the early morning to see if this east facing waterfall gets any sunlight in winter before it drops to the south by mid-morning or so. There are steep mountains directly to the east. Otherwise I will have to wait until summer when the sun rises higher in the sky.

I returned here yesterday in the late morning. I tried your example above of zooming during a 10 to 15 second exposure and got some interesting affects. I've used that before on lights and recently on the metro rail train. I plan to go back again soon. I'll post some of my results soon.
