A previous thread decrying the 12-35 as a landscape lens because of a lack of edge/corner sharpness prompted me to

In the afore mentioned previous thread that maxed out, I also noticed some iffiness with the lens in certain shots.

I haven't had time to do any more experimentation, however I'm wondering if the OIS might be having an effect with certain shots right at the edges of the screen - if the optical elements that are doing the correcting are say right at the edge of their travel.

?? dunno. Just a theory. I can't explain why some shots are sharp all over the frame (on a tripod), yet I've got images that are hand held, VERY sharp in the middle, yet a tad fuzzy at the edges (not even the corners)

Dunno either, Big Ga.  I don't use the OIS but do use IBIS when handheld.  In the shots I posted above, I used a tripod and had all IS off.
