Canon 6D and Lens question 70-200 F2.8 V2 or F4 IS

I've got both the f/4 IS and 2.8 IS II versions and while I don't have a 6D I use them on a 5D3.  I use the 2.8 for indoor sports and for the occasional portrait.  When daughter no longer plays indoor sports I likely will sell the 2.8 and keep the f/4.  I see no noticeable difference in their sharpness so cropping isn't an advantage to the 2.8 other than its benefit of less noise being cropped up if it is a lowlight shot.  If you will do a lot of low light shooting then the 2.8, otherwise the 4.  I even gave the f/4 a try shooting basketball on my 5D3 and was pleased with the results, but as I have the 2.8 that is of course what I will continue to use.
