No. The donuts only appear in certain situations and are easily avoided if you have an EVF camera as you can see them before shooting. There is very little editing in these shots apart from the 16:9 crop which I prefer for TV viewing and a slight boost to contrast.

I think Sony should consider making this lens again as it comes into its own on SLT cameras without a slapping mirror inducing vibration.
