This part is untrue, the wear levelling of an SSD doesn't care about the partition structure. Whether the free space is in one partition, the other partition or in unpartitioned space (some people recommend leaving part of the SSD unpartitioned to ensure you always have free space for wear levelling) doesn't matter.
