That is interesting, but this is still more direct:

Ogawa: "Of course, we're reaching a high level of performance with our Micro Four Thirds mirrorless product, but we are still not satisfied with these at the professional level. That's why we think we still need the E-System to satisfy professional photographers."

EVF and CDAF not good enough.

Watanabe has also said essentially the same thing. So their top people have honestly acknowledged that Olympus needs to produce a flagship/pro body worthy of their lens range with much better AF and CAF, and also a better (faster refreshing) viewfinder than EV's currently allow. They have also clearly stated that they are not yet sure which path they will take.

Olympus has recently been very strategic - even wise- with their camera product releases, but these have also been quite sparse. Let's hope this means that they are working on something BIG and as carefully thought out as the OM-D was.

I have the E-3 and 7D, so I monitor news about the E-7 and 7DII and also D400. It is interesting that in each forum many say the future is mirrorless and full frame with no room for anything I want. I expect at least one company to prove them wrong.
