I wonder why the CEO of the NRA, Wayne Lapierre, refuses to endorse 100% background checks on the sale of guns. Everyone knows that today, in most places, you can buy a gun at a gun show without undergoing a background check....and most everyone thinks that's a loophole that needs to be closed.

I saw him on TV just today saying again that he would not support it.

I think he is damaging his own cause by taking this unpopular stand. It seems he will not give an inch, even though this seems a very reasonable step. He is looking more and more like a shill for the gun industry, rather than representing his own members.

If the state discovers that I oppose the existence of the state (even nonviolently), the state can put that on my file and therefore if I purchase a gun from a willing vendor, the state can threaten me with its guns to forcibly confiscate my gun.

What do you mean when you say that you"oppose the existence of state"? What would you rather have?

Completely private ownership of the means of production. A society where all interactions between groups and individuals are completely voluntary. An end to theft by taxation and fiat currency, slavery by forced education and military service, and murder by military aggression.

This sounds good! But I have a few minor questions, which I think you should be able to answer:

1. Suppose this entity exists. How would it be protected against outside thread?

2. How would at least some social programs (retirement, education for some at least) be financed if there is no tax AND all means of production are owned by the private citizens, who are NOT obligated to pay any taxes.

3. So you advocate for the society of no Government. OK. How would you propose to manage this group of people?

What you actually described is a utopian model of Communism with exception of means of production in private hands. Marx envisioned that all people would own all means of production for themselves by themselves.

Here is a quote from the link below:

"Pure Communism, the end goal of Marxist Socialism, would be the theoretical state of "statelessness" in which an un-governed, classless society lives in perfect order, and all history has stopped."

Surprised? I guess you aren't the first one to come up with this idea.
