Thanks, all.

I listed the Mark II up on CL to see if there's any bites for a bit of profit. If not, I can easily return to place of purchase.

I will be incorporating FF into my lineup eventually and am trying to determine whether 6D or 5D Mark III will be best for my needs. I shoot primarily people in events under a variety of lighting (outdoors, indoors, sub-optimal lighting). I don't do studio shots and rarely have the time to setup lighting for my shots since most are somewhat candid. Usually, I bump my ISO to get the speed I need to manage blur. In the T4i, I've been able to get decent IQ at 3200, esp if I can just barely ETTR.

Lots of factors to think about: cost, handling, autofocus considerations, etc. We'll see.

I shoot events and carry 3 bodies - T4i being one of them

I lost a shutter once at an event so three is my number

I carry 5d and 60d also

If you get FF someday - get fast primes where FF sings

35 F1.4 siggy art and 100L

otherwise, zooms on T4i do just as well as f4 zooms on FF
