But you neglect to quote the opening sentence of his article - The Summit at Olympus - which is:

"I’m sure from the title one may wonder if this is a story about mountain climbing or one related to mirrorless cameras."

A brief investigation into his web-site shows an OMD and Pen side-by-side. His mention, in the article you referenced, to "Pretty much any piece of 4/3 and µ4/3 gear was sitting in there, including the gigantic and stunning Zuiko 300mm f/2.8. What a beast!" could apply merely to lenses. The shot of the Olympus Store  shows a lot of camera bodies, but does any of them look like the E-5?

It is inevitable that people will see what they want to see in clouds, tea-leaves and on-line articles, but it doesn't mean that Olympus has been listening to ​all​ its customers on-line.
