Interesting: Steve Huff says centre focus is superior to multi

Sean, I use multi spot focusing as I find it does a better job of locking onto my intended subject rather than a large box around the center, and find that I wait for the small green boxes to be lit before taking a shot. I've forced shots before in which no green boxes were in the picture, and lo and behold, the pictures were just a tad bit blurry. I've disabled sounds, so can't say if the "beep" also indicated a target lock.

"Well, I have no issues with the RX1 AF at all. It just does not mis focus (for me) but I also do not use spot AF (which can lead to mis focus). I use center point AF and it always locks on and is correct."
