Re: NX200 Landed

Welcome Adam. I really like the 20-50mm as well, and it works great for infrared converted camera as well. I prefer the bokeh of the 20-50mm to the 18-55mm too, but the 18-55 does have OIS.

Thanks ! .. the 20-50 is the Mk1 and is softer at the long end than the samples I`ve seen from the Mk2 version which comes with the NX1000 . OIS would have been handy for the indoor shots but the lack of it is probably why the 20-50 is better than the 18-55 (and all the 18-55s for that matter), IS compromises the optics in cheap lenses somewhere, usually edges at the wide end where the 20-50 really shines .

I`ll be looking into getting a 16mm, I liked that FOV on the NEX, the NX200 has more resolution for cropping than the NEX5 - the 30 would be a good bet too. 20mm is covered by the 20-50 which is better than the 20 prime from the various sources I was checking out (the lenstip review wasn`t very encouraging for the 20 prime)
