Re: 18-135 or 16-50 Lens

I have the Tamron 18-270 for my A55, and am very happy with it.

Were I buying again, I would look at the 16-105.  At times the 18-270 needs to be just a little bit wider.  I am investigating a longer lens, up to about 500mm, so a 50-500mm or a 100-500mm lens would be a great compliment to a 16-1075.

I would miss the range from 105-270 on the walk-around lens, but it seems like most shooting is either in the close range, or the long range.  Having two lenses would seem to be less convenient, but in reality one or the other would stay on the camera for an extended time.

I have heard really, really good things about the 16-105 lens in terms of sharpness....
