800mm f/5.6...lighter than 600mm f/4....nice!

Min focusing is not much better than canon either. So when canon come out with their light weight version this will look silly.

Not sure what you guys are saying, I thought it pretty clear the current Canon 800 IS their light version that subsequently spawned the issuance of the II series 300 through 600 primes. Ergo there is no 8.5 pound 800mm to be expected from Canon.
