Oly M4/3 and Panny 100-300 Come of Age for Birds
There is a popular forum for bird watchers and birders, birdforum.net. Every month they post a photo contest, which include various categories of birds, + animals, insects etc. Last month it was an open category "anything goes" . I think it was noteworthy that the 2 winning entries were birds taken with an OM-D and an E-PL5, both with Panny 100-30 lenses, beating out a variety of photos taken with dSLRs and big lenses. To see the images you can join the forum for free, and navigate to the Monthly Photo Competition Details gallery.
BTW, the photo equipment sub-forums in birdforum are full of useful discussions regarding cameras, lenses etc, of all varieties, mainly directed at bird photography.
