You bought way too much camera.......

and didn't leave anything in your budget for lenses.

First things first:

Micro four thirds cameras are intercahangeable lens cameras.   If you are not interested in getting multiple focal lenghts, there is no point in buying one.  If you accept that you will be buying other lenses, you can't tie up your entire budget in the body.

You would be much better off with an E-pl2 and kit lens (about $300.00) the 40-150mm zoom ($99.00 with the E-pl2) and another $75.00 for the legacy lens of your choise and adapter.  You would now have the same range you had with your G12 with a step up in operational speed, AF speed and IQ.

And, you would still have about $800.00 in your pocket

You have way too much camera.  The OM-d is a complicated beast.  Complicated to set up and complicated to operate to get the most out of it.  A PEN would be a much easier transition to make from a G12.

I dunno, I will think of it later.
