Re: Fujifilm superzooms macro working distance?

I use the X-S1 as well. Set in macro and zoomed out between 100-170mm (35mm equiv) gives the best enlargement. But i have found if there is enough light /contrast i can get macro to work right out at full zoom. The magnication is about the same as the close up with using 135mm but the working distance is longer.

Ive started using a raynox 250 close up lens and can now take what id call true macro images as i can use the full zoom and get within a few inches to get beyond the 1:1 ratio .

´╗┐sooc using standard macro and zooming in around 135-170mm uncropped.

Using raynox and macro setting and zoom. sooc no cropping.
