New X-Pro model in 2013 already? Do we know anything what cycle Fuji intend for these cameras? Canon and Nikon have four year cycles for their pro grade cameras which I think is reasonable. A new version should be improved in every way, not just some minor changes.

What about a X-Pro1s incorporating some of the improvements from the X100s? Nikon has done this for years with a D2H to D2Hs, D3 to D3s, usually happening within a couple of years.

That would be great, of course. What I don't like is what the m43 vendors (Olympus and Panasonic) have been doing - releasing a number of models with only minor upgrades within the same year. They seem desperate to get anything new out so that they can keep sales up. A lot of readers here seem to assume there will be new Fuji models every year. Maybe they are right. And maybe that's a good model for business?
