For sure.  I've seen these as low as $99 after rebate and dealer promotions.  I had one for a brief period but returned it because most of my shots with it were blurred.  I thought it was the lens, but later discovered "shutter shock", and sure enough all of my bad shots were in the shutter speed range where shutter shock is most destructive.  Now I'm waiting for that $99 special again to pick up another one.

And yeah, it's a very very light plasticy lens that protrudes obscenely when zoomed.
