Having shot for 40 years I have a LOT of experience using manual lenses including shooting auto racing. The issue isn't operating the MF lens, but the fact it has a colour cast when the digital camera (I've had yellw, and green), and it's not worth the time to correct the colour cast after!

I do have fun with my manual fisheye, but that lens was designed for the camera.

aperture handles the color cast pretty well for me, but i can't begrudge anyone who doesn't desire the extra work.....

as i photo for fun only, the extra time costs me nothing - not all of my hours are billable!
