Mirror slap can be a problem with a dslr, but in my experience typically with 1/8s or longer exposures. I am struggling to adapt to a 1/8s anti-shock delay with the OM-D E-M5, but I see that for many others they do not find it much of a problem at all, which gives me hope...

I know it's hard when we discover these little quirks in a camera that we want to love.  I went on a shooting vacation into Montana and Wyoming before I was aware that shutter shock existed in mtf cameras.  .I came back with a huge ratio of spoiled images taken with the 40-150 because of it.  I thought it was the lens so I returned it.  Some taken with the 12-50 were blurred.  Everything with the 20 were tack sharp.  Now that I know, I use the delay whenever I can.  I'm fortunate that I bought this camera 90% for landscape and I shoot no action whatsoever.

Keep at it.  The IQ and magical IBIS in this camera are worth it.
