I'm not really a grammar nazi & English is not my first language too. But it will help others to understand what you intent to ask.

I used to have Olympus 12mm before selling it after only 1 month to fund the Pana 12-35mm. At 12mm f2.8, Pana is quite good although Oly without doubt is sharper. If you do not regularly cropping & not a pixel-peeper, most likely Pana will satisfy your need. As you said also, 12-35mm offers a very versatile focal length.

If i were you I'll keep the 45mm and save the money to get 12-35mm instead.
