Sorry Dov - and I hate to be the one to tell you this - but to "pass" something means that it is being "passed" through your body as its remnants are delivered to the toilet.  Most often, it is used in reference to and undigestible object that one has swallowed - one can only wait until it "passes".

So, poor attempt at humor in my response...
