D800 FINAL AF Settings...;-)

After two days of beating up my D800 outside, indoors, on the roof and anywhere else I could test it, I finally set the camera in a way that is working for me.
In addition to using AF-ON in conjunction with AF-C I have ALSO turned off all tracking at A3 (A3 = OFF). So far as I understand it, this is taking most/all of the D800's focus tracking/bias away. Turning A3 off also improved AF-S mode.
That's weird, because option A3 only impacts AF-C.
I'm getting fairly reliable results in all lighting conditions. Thanks to those who were chill and gave some good tips!
That is the most important, enjoy!
Yes...I thought the A3 set to off would only effect AF-C, but wasn't sure. It does SEEM more reliable when set to OFF though.
My objective was to take away ANY bias of the D800 to seek AF target outside of my chosen focus point.
I'm not touching anything but the center AF point.
