Ok,  perhaps I misunderstood the previous post.  I thought it was saying that the camera itself never controlled the aperture.  I agree that with the adaptors that are currently available, you need to have a lens with an aperture ring, but I think it is possible that something like the metabones adaptor for the NEX cameras could be built formthe Fuji.
