Shutter stuck at 6 Degrees??? I'm Freezing! :o)

Went shooting last night and took a reading at 6 Degrees above Zero.

I noticed my 7D was sticking. Am I shooting in too cold weather for the 7D? OR is it my 17-55 f2.8?

The shutter needed 3-4 pushes before it would respond. With every push the focus would work but the shutter would not respond all the time. After the camera warmed up it's fine today.

Any advice in shooting in really cold environments? Next week I'll be on a lake with strong wind. With the WCF it could be well below Zero.

Anyone with similar experience?

Thank you,

TVSTAFF
