First of all, you should never change a lens with the camera turned on.

I did it several times by mistake. Nothing happened or maybe I did not realize. For sure it's not a good thing to do but what exactly is supposed to happen if you do it?

Some reported camera-bricking here on the forum. So, to be on the safe side - I would stick to the "proper" way of changing the lens.
