Hey everyone. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate them. I was about 50ft or so from the bird, I kinda followed him from tree to tree/branch to branch as he didn't really mind my company. I only shoot in raw and have manual mode tuned to U1 and U2 on the settings dial, couldn't even tell ya if any other modes work lol. It was tough shooting this guy because the sky was 100% cloudy as you can see in the pics I got. I don't think any other mode would have got this kind of exposure EX. shutter or aperture priority modes as they would have been fooled by the bright sky and then underexposed the shots, I could be wrong but I think I'm right. My settings were iso 80 1/60th F5.6. Hope this helps.
