Sony lens vs Soy G Lens
I would like to know the difference between sony lens for alpha SLT with the sony G lenses. Will there be significant differences in image qualities with these 2 types of lenses?
Cost seems to be a lot high for Sony G lenses. Does these 2 types of lenses really have significant differences?
Also does Canon or Nikon has lenses with different prices?
The Sony G designation like the G from the Minolta era means Sony considers the lens to be of higher quality than the non G lenses. Canon designates their better lenses as L. Sony also sell Zeiss lenses, that are also considered premium.
Generally the G lenses are of better construction and sometimes have larger apertures than the non G.
They are generally rated better optically.
