Re: Digiscoping Advice on what to use with my new scope

There are two ways forward for this. One is to get a bracket which holds the camera to the eye piece using the lens in place. This is the only way for fixed lens cameras but is used by SLR as well. However the T adaptor is a good way for SLR to work. You do lose all auto control and so must make all the settings manual. However you do need two elements. First the is the T-adapter  http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0000665V6/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00 which fits in the eye hole of the scope these are all much the same except for size but 1&1/4 inch is the main size used. Second you need an T ring for your camera http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0039ZN3UC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 . This goes in place of a lens in the body of the camera. This has to be for your exact lens mount. I have just copied the ones for my camera so you can see what I'm talking about. These to fit toeather and join scope to camara.   However because my scope will not focus on the sensor in my camera I had to get this special T-adapter. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00779AF2A/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00  .
