Never say never

As semi-conductor companies are going fabless left and right, it is clear that not everyone can afford to sustain their own fab. While Sony spent billion dollars on their sensors R&D, and other semi companies such as Toshiba, Aptina are cranking out some better sensor technologies, I am 100% sure Canon management have thought about the outsourcing idea.

Nikon has gone to the extreme, not just use Sony exclusively, but has 3 different suppliers. Are they stupid?

If you don't see any advancement in Canon sensor at next APSC refresh, I bet a new direction is coming soon.

I thought I bring in good argument with factual.

Sure there are as many fanbois as there are troll in every forum.
