Sorry, but locking the Tri Navi wheels and control dial does not disable the control wheel from it's exposure compensation function, it is always active, which is as big a problem for me as the video button.

IMHO, a real photographer had very little input to the user interface of the NEX7, I find the controls of this camera to be the worst that I have ever used.  On paper the system seems ok, but in practice the controls are fiddely, easy and not easy to move, they move when you don't want them to move and don't move when you do.  The control wheel in particular should have been made with more  positive detents.

Last week I was out shooting in the cold and for the 3rd or 4th time since I've owned the camera, I would have loved to just smash it.  This has never happened with any other camera that I have owned and I have owned many cameras.
