I have the 135 only, so I cannot compare them both.

All I can say, is that it is a very sharp lens with even sharpness

corner to corner even at infinity.

Of course at f2 it is not as sharp as it is at 5.6 but it is

sharper than other fast lenses. The f2 corners are almost as sharp as

in the center at f2 (on FF), which is fantastic.

The contrast is low, which is a feature of this lens I think.

Since they are very similar lenses, I would trust Nikon's MTFs.

The MTFs show that they have almost same performance.

135 is slightly sharper, has slighlt better corners, more even sharpness and

less field curvature. 105 is sharper in the center by a bit.

In case you notice much difference in performance, either your 135 is

faulty or the focus is bad.
