Seeking for tips in handhelding small mirrorless cameras to reduce blurs/user shakes.

Been using OVFs since my first EOS 350D (Rebel), I switched to mirrorless camera (EP L5) last week.

I found out using the LCD monitor (without an EVF) and 40-150mm lens, the camera shakes unlike using an OVF and an 18-135 lens.

Will an EVF pressied against my eye will make me more comfortable as what an OVF does to me? Does camera's weight affects stability?

TIA
