Looks like he wanted to see you use an ND filter... ! -- everyone has their own taste...

Your pic is great... A lil under exposed, but that's kool. While capturing ice/snow you shud try to increase the exposure compensation a bit... maybe +1 to +2.

Usually waterfall pics are long exposures to get a milky hazy effect... But I think it's based on situation.

In your case, you just might be trying to show an Icy Waterfall 'Frozen' in time.

So congrats... a chilly impact...
