I can see what you mean, but it does try to maintain the minimum shutter speed with the lowest possible ISO, and, as I have my Max set to ISO 3200, there's nothing else the camera can do once it reaches that other than slow the shutter speed.

To minimise blurring you could of course select a faster shutter speed in S or M mode, and the camera will then just raise the ISO to your set Maximum. The result is then likely to be an underexposed shot which you could try to correct in PP.

There is no specific warning but the ISO and Shutter Speed are clearly visible on the OVF/EVF.
