Chilly weekend walks.
The little birds are great, especially the first one. I see that they were shot at 300mm -- which lens? The herons at 6400 really did clean up well. It's nice to get that kind of detail with little noise at 6400.
I used the DA*300mm yesterday for the small birds and the 16-45mm for the scenic shot across the reservoir. Forecast said it was going to snow again so thought the DA* would be the best option.
The two Heron shots from this morning were with the Bigma. Not a bad lens at all but I had to duck for cover when it started snowing quite heavily, so wish I'd take the 300mm again and stayed out longer.
