7 Birds from 7 Cameras

Hi all,

This may be of interest to those here who photograph birds with superzooms...
These seven shots were all taken at similar distances (and processed for web presentation at similar resolutions), with seven different superzoom cameras (some with TC lenses). The equipment used includes Canon, Sony, Fuji, and Nikon.

Northern Cardinal (male)

Tufted Titmouse

Northern Cardinal (female)

Northern Flicker (male)

House Finch (male)

Eastern Bluebird (female)

Eastern Bluebird (male)

The images were neither taken nor intended for direct comparisons, and any differences in image quality are likely due as much to variances in the shooting conditions and/or our execution of each shot, as they are to any technical differences in the gear used.

We just hope you enjoy them,
