Leica R Lenses with new Leica M
I see that Leica R lenses come in 3Cam or ROM.
Can either be used with the new Leica M?
Yes, you'll be able to use any R lens on the upcoming Leica M, no matter if it's 2-cam, 3-cam, no cam, w/ ROM or w/o. The Leica R-Adapter M is purely mechanical. There's no aperture control functionality whatsoever, so any cams or ROM don't serve any function when used on the adapter. And of course the same is true for any 3rd-party R-to-M or whatever-to-M adapters(e. g. from Novoflex).
