Hello Stephen,

A bold composition which has had me thinking about why I like it, and also why I don't.  A clever use of line on the white building, where the right hand side forces you to consider the vertiginous nature of the new, and the calmer horizontal left leads you with depth to simpler times.  Great stuff.  I also like the girder (?) in the foreground, maybe locking into the building like a meccano set and bringing depth to two diagonals.

I find the use of selective focus, especially in landscapes, very interesting.  However in your picture I am having trouble imagining the appropriate tilt that would produce this effect as shown here, so it must be a processing effect.  Which would be fine, I guess, but I think that I actually want to see the girder, or at least the tips of it, nicely sharp.
