Yes ISO 6400 is usable on the RX100…that makes a big difference…the flash can be bounced as well…so while I still love the Canon S Series the RX100 gets chosen much more…colors are fabulous and sharpness is more than adequate…the Multi Shot NR feature works excellent as well...

Sorry for the dog shot, but this was the only time I could get him to stand still…lol…and he was still moving his head and tail, but hair is a big tell tale at high ISO...
