Wireless camera back up system, would you use it?
1. "Backup" implies protection against loss/failure. A solid state memory card is far less likely to fail than a complex card/wifi whatever system.
2. It wouldn't be of any use to me for reviewing while shooting. I tend to shoot street and sports. I don't have a computer set up nearby on which to review images and if I did it wouldn't help. I can't ask the guy who just scored a goal to do it again because I missed the shot.
I might want such a system if I was shooting in a controlled environment like a studio, but even then a simple tether would suffice unless I was doing a $20,000 advertising shoot (probably not likely) and had money to burn.
I love my girlfriend, my dog and my canon 5DIII - even though none of them ever do what I tell them
I am learning photo graphee - see the results at www.danmarchant.com
