That lens is pretty notorious for having lots of LoCA. f/1.8-2.2 it can really have a TON.

Most fast lenses like that have a fair amount. Different lens do vary in degree though.

The 70-200 2.8 IS has a lot more than the 70-200 2.8 non-IS. The 300 f/4 non-IS has TONS more than the 300 2.8 IS (which has virtually none ever and appears to be a true full APO design). The new 24-70 II has exceptionally little of it. The 50 1.4 has a fair amount. Even the 135L definitely has a bit. I vaguely recall that the tamron 28-75 and 17-50 had it reasonably well controlled and same for canon 60 macro. The 24-105 can get a fair bit of it in leaves/branches against sky scenarios.
