Thank You for posting this wonderful example of what the SX50 is capable of.

So often superzooms are often misunderstood by owners and misrepresented by reviewers too. Compact Superzooms are made possible, mainly because of the use of very small sensors. That be said, brings us to this: How do we get the best out of these tiny sensors? Well, the golden rule to using a small sensor, is to fill the frame using its own built in glass. Cropping needs to be used very sparingly. Now this brings us to the SX50. Plain and simple “no other superzoom” can fill the frame using it's own glass like the SX50. Plain and simple.
