D700 prices seem very high

Ha! Nice, but my D800 was no faster or sensitive in low light than my D700, and it had the left-side AF sensor SNAFU. Blooming or banding at ISOs above 3200 with my D700 were minor compared to the pervasive, DR-limiting amp glow of my D800. And Live View?? One degree of poor implementation vs another!

But you're right about dual card slots being handy.
