Nope. Not everybody can use high shutter speeds When taking video, a pro always uses a shutter speed commensurate with his/her frame rate. If you are using 30fps that means a 1/30 shutter. If you violate that rule then your video becomes 'jerky' (like most of the stuff on YouTube) instead of having fluid 'motion blur' (as you find on movie film).

The LX5 had apertures which closed to f18 on video to help with this, but I still needed an ND8 to use the LX5 to shoot video in the Californian sun Looks like I will have less flexibility with the LX7. Only time will tell

It is funny that you stated this as fact when it actually should be 1/60th of a second for 30 FPS and even that isn't a hard and fast rule.
