Steve, you you are an awesome photographer and your type of photography is one of my favorites!

That is why I wanted to go in Winter... not too many people dare to visit NM in this season

I love ghost towns but I have not able to find the first one yet. Are there any in Texas?

There are many in Texas, maybe dozens and dozens, you might try a google search. I have never been there but would love to go some day. Unfortunatly, Texas is HUGE. You were only 30-40 minutes from Garcia, Colorado when you were it Taos. By the way, I loved photographing the Taos Pueblo. I see you too were there. You have some excellent photographs!!!

Your shot is amazing!!! If I had know about this place .......

The wood cabin ( Ghost Ranch) in my shots was built for the movie City Slickers long time ago, then abandoned.....
