Are the current Fuji prime lenses future-proofed

No, so. The OP was asking if his PRIMES were future proof. Since those primes don't have linear motors they should test slower than the 18-55, which has linear motors.

BTW it was Fuji itself to boast ultrafast AF in the 18-55, for the *first time*.

Therefore I asked for a comparison. Tests don't LIE.

You go out of your way to downplay or ignore any inaccuracy in your own statements and to play up any inaccuracy in others' statements. I am not interested in playing the game.
